Football Gameday Information
  • Casey Stadium Box Offices
    Tom & Mary Casey Stadium provides two Box Office locations, which are located at the North and South gates, respectively, and will open two (2) hours prior to kickoff at all UAlbany Football games for any fans who wish to purchase tickets on game day.

    Will Call
    Will Call opens two (2) hours prior to kickoff at all UAlbany Football games and is located at the Will Call tent, which can be found just outside of the Casey Stadium South Box Office. All patrons will be asked to present valid photo ID to pick up game tickets. Tickets available for pick-up at Will Call are as follows, but not limited to:

    - Player/Coach tickets for both home and visiting teams
    - Media credentials
    - Spirit squad tickets

    Note: In the event of inclement weather, Will Call will be shifted inside the South Box Office of Casey Stadium.

    Mobile & Print-At-Home Tickets
    The UAlbany Athletics Ticket Office strongly encourages fans to purchase tickets in advance of each game in order to help create smaller lines outside the North and South Gates of Casey Stadium. Tickets can be purchased online at UAlbanySports.com/Tickets and Online Ticketing will run through the start of each game. Fans who purchase tickets using the Online Ticketing platform may either utilize the Print-At-Home ticket option or may use the Mobile Ticketing feature for entrance into the stadium.

  • ADA Accessible Seating
    Tom & Mary Casey Stadium provides many various seating options, including ADA accessible seating. Accessible seating is located on the concourse level of the stadium. Chair back accessible seating is located at the top of sections 104-106, while bleacher accessible seating is available at the top of section(s) 102-103 and 105-106. Additional ADA seating options are located on west side of stadium. All Casey Stadium ADA seating offers wheelchair spaces as well as chair back companion seating.

    Patrons who plan on purchasing an ADA Accessible Single-Game Ticket may purchase one (1) ticket for an ADA accessible seat and up to three (3) seats for companions. Single Game Accessible Tickets, if available, can be purchased by calling the UAlbany Athletics Ticket Office at (518) 442-DANE (3256), or in person at the UAlbany Athletics Ticket Office located on the Lobby Level of Broadview Center.

    ADA Accessible Parking
    Patrons may request a season-long handicapped parking pass through the UAlbany Athletics Ticket Office. Proof of an authorized and valid accessible parking pass must be provided. Accessible parking will be made available in both the Broadview parking lot and in parking lot adjacent to the Physical Education Building. Priority for accessible parking spaces in the Broadview parking lot will be allocated to season ticket holders based upon annual giving level and priority points within each level. Select ADA Accessible parking spots will be available on game day for $20.

  • Is tailgating allowed on gameday?
    Tailgating is permitted in the Broadview and the Dutch Quad parking lots, only. The University at Albany promotes community building activities for its student, faculty, staff, alumni and visitors, and recognizes that tailgating is a time honored tradition at sporting events and other events on college and university campuses. Tailgating has the potential to enhance an event experience within a safe, responsible
    and controlled environment.

    What time do the Broadview and Dutch Quad parking lots open for tailgating?
    Tailgating parking lots will open four (4) hours prior to the start of the contest. Tailgating must discontinue 15 minutes prior to the start of the contest and tailgating lots must be cleaned and fully vacated within 90 minutes following the conclusion of the event. New York State Law does not permit overnight parking on SUNY campuses. No overnight parking will be permitted the night before or the night following the game.

    Can I bring my own alcohol to my tailgate?
    Consistent with the University’s Policy on Alcohol, alcohol is permitted to be consumed in the tailgating area by individuals who are 21 or older, consistent with NYS law. All alcohol laws shall be strictly enforced; open container laws (Town of Guilderland and City of Albany) shall be strictly enforced outside of the tailgating area. For tailgaters that consume alcohol, the University encourages the tailgaters to drink responsibly by serving food and nonalcoholic beverages, and by having designated drivers to accommodate guests and hosts alike.

    Are glass containers and kegs allowed?
    Glass containers and kegs are prohibited. Bulk containers, including, but not limited to kegs and beer balls, are prohibited. Drinking game tables or other paraphernalia, including, but not limited to beer pong tables, are prohibited. All drinks should be placed in plastic/disposable cups.

    Can I grill while tailgating?
    Propane grills with cylinders 20 lbs. or under are allowed. Charcoal grills are also permitted but must be disposed of responsibly by dousing the charcoals with water, and emptying them into the labeled metal receptacles provided by the University within the tailgating area. Open flames are not permitted in any tailgate or parking area.

    May I set up a tent at my tailgate?
    Tents or canopies (which may not exceed 10’ x 10’) are permitted. They must be secured and may not obstruct fire/safety lanes, sidewalks, drive lanes, pedestrian walkways or other parking spots. These structures must be an extension of your vehicle. Tailgating amenities including furniture, grills, generators or satellite dishes; these also may not obstruct fire/safety lanes, sidewalks, drive lanes, pedestrian walkways or other parking spots. Driving or parking private vehicles on any and all green spaces and sidewalks is prohibited.

  • In an effort to provide the safest environment, fans are encouraged to bring only necessary items. All bags are subject to search by the UAlbany Police Department. The following items are permitted:
    - Portable seats that fit bench seating
    - Foam seat pads and cushions
    - Backpacks, purses, hand bags, clutch, diaper bags and fanny packs that do not to exceed 16x16 inches
    - Small camera (those with a lens shorter than 6 inches)
    - Cell phones and pagers
    - Radios
    - Blankets and rain apparel
    *All bags are subject to search by the UAlbany Police Department before entrance.

    Any item deemed inappropriate by stadium management will not be allowed into the stadium. The list of prohibited items includes but is not limited to:
    - Folding chairs and/or lawn chairs
    - Backpacks
    - Containers of any kind (including all types of water bottles, coolers, thermoses, cups, cans, flasks)
    - Alcoholic beverages
    - Outside food or beverage of any kind
    - Weapons of any kind
    - Laser pointers
    - Artificial noisemakers (musical instruments, whistles, air horns, etc.) *
    - Strollers **
    - Umbrellas
    - Aerosol and spray cans
    - Animals (except service animals for persons with a disability)
    - Apparel or signage displaying profane or abusive language
    - Projectiles (including athletic equipment, lacrosse sticks Frisbees, beach balls, etc.) ***
    - Skates, skateboards, hoverboards, scooters or bicycles
    - Smoking (including e-cigarettes)
    - Video cameras, tripods and selfie sticks

    Anything else deemed inappropriate by UAlbany Athletics. Changes in national and regional security levels may affect security procedures throughout the year. Medical exceptions will be addressed individually. We appreciate your cooperation. Enjoy the game!

    * Some NCAA, CAA and America East conference rules, depending on sport, allow for artificial noise makers. Please check with UAlbanyAthletics to confirm what is prohibited and permissible.
    ** A stroller storage area will be made available outside the North Gate Entrance at Casey Stadium. This area will not be managed or controlled. By leaving the stroller in this area, the patron assumes all risk. UAlbany Athletics is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
    *** Approved equipment must have prior written
    approval from UAlbany Athletics.
