2009-10 MEN'S BASKETBALL Students may request tickets for Men's Basketball home games beginning Monday, November 2nd. Please click "2009-10 Men's Basketball Registration Schedule" for a complete list of ticket request dates.
Student Guest tickets are available for all Men's Basketball home games if tickets remain when the On Demand period begins. If a lottery is not needed due, the On Demand period will begin at the end of the request period.
2009-10 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL Students may attend any women's basketball game by bringing their valid student ID to the Student Gate (near the corner of Emmet Street and Massie Road) beginning 90 minutes prior to the game.
2009 FOOTBALL STUDENT GUEST TICKETS Student Guest tickets for all home football games except Virginia Tech will be available for purchase through SHOTS beginning August 24th.
Guest tickets for the Virginia Tech game may be requested by students beginning September 14th. Students may initially request the purchase of 1 ticket. Should the number of tickets requested exceed the number allotted, a random lottery will be held to determine which students will be offered the opportunity to purchase Student Guest tickets for this game. If the number of tickets requested does not exceed the number allotted, students will have the opportunity to purchase more than one ticket while supplies last.
BANNERS, FLAGS & SIGNS POLICY Banners, signs and flags are allowed in athletics venues provided they do not impede another guest's view of the competition, cover any venue signage, and/or are not attached to the facility. Banners, signs, and flags on poles or sticks are prohibited. Athletics Event Management reserves the right to remove any banner, sign or flag that is in violation of the policy.
SPECIAL MESSAGES FOR STUDENTS: * Capacity for student admissions and student guest tickets for home football games at Scott Stadium is 13,000. Once 13,000 students and student guest ticket holders have entered Scott Stadium, no additional students will be admitted to the stadium. Student guest ticket holders may enter Scott Stadium at any time after the gates open.
* Students must bring their valid student ID and have paid all required athletics fees to be admitted to all Virginia home games.A valid student ticket is also required for men's basketball games. Backpacks, food and drinks are not allowed. Students who do not comply with these regulations will be denied entry to the stadium/arena. A full list ofrules for all Virginia Athletics facilities may be found by clicking the "Security Rules" link on the left side of this page.
* Students are encouraged to view the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) files posted along the left side of this page, which contain answers to many common questions aboutVirginia student ticketing.
* It is recommended that students use Internet Explorer version 6.0 and up to view this site. The performance of the SHOTS online ticketing system has been optimized for this browser. Other browsers, including Mozilla Firefox and Safari, may not display the site correctly.
